Threeways Safaris has been conducting successful hunts in
Southern Africa for over 10 years. We offer a wide selection
of African game in areas ranging from grassland to thick Mopani
Woodland. Our hunting base is Tokkie van der Merwe's ranch
in the Lowveld, Southern Zimbabwe. The game is free ranging
and includes a good variety for the trophy hunter to choose
from. The rustic thatched camp is set in the dense riverine
forest on the banks of an ancient riverbed.
The principal attractions in Zimbabwe are plentiful Cape
Buffalo and Leopard which can be hunted for a reasonable fee,
along with some magnificent plainsgame. Other species are
easily accessible as we have concessions in South Africa and
other areas of Zimbabwe. Hunters are advised to specify the
animals they intend to hunt, and we will tailor your hunt
for these.
Prices quoted include the following:
The service of a highly experienced, government licensed professional
hunter, and his staff - trackers,
skinners and camp personnel;
Comfortable accommodation in well equipped hunting camps (
bathroom en suite), meals and drinks;
Daily laundry service;
Road transport while hunting;
Professional field preparation of trophies and delivery to
Harare for packing and shipping;
Limited bird hunting;
The following items are not included:
Hotel charges before and after hunting period;
Packing, dipping and shipment of trophies;
Air charters and air fares;
Ammunition;
Gratuities, which are the client's discretion; (Operator can
give you a guideline, if needed)
The meat of the animals shot, which remains the property of
the landowner
